Dmytro Yarosh has stepped down as leader of Right Sector, the nationalist group that started off defending protesters from police violence during the EuroMaidan Revolution and morphed into a political party and paramilitary group.
In a 3-minute 15-second video clip posted to YouTube on December 27, Yarosh said he plans to found a new political movement in February 2016. Yarosh said his team would remain on the path of revolution, but would oppose pseudo-revolutionary activities that pose a threat to the existence of the Ukrainian state.
